You can’t stop eating it. You’re compelled to eat it. You know it’s bad for you, but you eat it anyway. And no matter what you do...You. Just. Can’t. Stay. Away. From. It.
For many years, I was crippled by my addiction to sugar. I loved everything ooey, gooey and chewy: chocolate, candy, ice cream, cookies… You name it, if it contained the sweet stuff, I couldn’t leave it alone!
I routinely binged on sugar and felt terrible. Do you see the bloat on my face in these photos? That’s what sugar did to me. Sugar not only made me gain a lot of weight (50 pounds), but it inflamed my body and created all kinds of health issues.
I tried curbing my sugar intake numerous times, but I always managed to sneak it back into my diet. And once I did, I’d be back to the races and hooked on sugar, yet again.
I thought about food 24/7. My obsession with food and weight interrupted my work, my time with family, and anything I was doing, frankly. I felt so embarrassed by how I looked. I couldn’t cover up my rolls of fat, no matter how hard I tried. And even though I went on plenty of diets to try and lose weight, my cravings for sweets always undermined my resolve. I just couldn’t leave my favorite foods alone.
The only thing that worked for me was to quit sugar for good. But that’s easier said than done! Thankfully, I finally found a way. And that’s exactly what I want to show you.
I’m so excited to give you my entire system for quitting sugar – and staying that way. And you won’t have to give up your enjoyment of food! I will give you tons of recipes that will enable you to continue to enjoy sweet things…but without the harmful effects of sugar.
