Emotional eaters take the cake on self-criticism, don’t we? We don’t like how we look, we’re not the right weight, we should have a better job, more friends, a different nose…we are so mean! The only way to have success in changing the way we eat is to be kind and compassionate with ourselves. Because emotional eating is really a “thing”, and not your fault. There is one area, however, unrelated to food and weight, were you might do well to tighten the reigns, however. And when you do, it will have a direct impact on your relationship with food!
