Some days we just wake up on the wrong side of the bed, and things go downhill from there. Being in a funk is one of the easiest reasons we reach for excess food to comfort us. It was my own recent funk that got me thinking about the fundamental things that work for me to prevent spiraling down the mental rabbit hole, or that help me climb out of my funk very quickly. I call these the “fundamentals” because they are so silly-easy to do…and yet they make a huge difference in my outlook on life.
